This is a tribute to a little dog that I only knew in passing on our walks in our local country park. Her name is Ruby and she was an elderly JRT, sweet natured and placid, who did her own thing and never bothered anyone.

Tragically her life has been cut short in the most appalling way. Last Thursday she was attacked and fatally injured by a large Mastiff in a small local park.

I just want to express how much I feel for her elderly owner Eileen, at this sad time and send her love and hugs. Ruby was Eileen's whole life.

Ruby, your mummy loves you more than words can say and she will miss you so, so much. I will miss you too, as will everyone else who knew you.

Run free little spirit over the Bridge, our love is with you, xx

That is so sad. Poor Eileen loosing her beloved Ruby in that horrific way.
My thoughts are with Eileen and hope soon the memories of Ruby will help her through her bereavement.
