my goldfish died today age 14yrs old

my goldfish died this morn cant believ that when my brother got married he gave this little fish which he bought from bradmore garden centre
goldie had swam many yrs we often thought we was going to loose him years ago but about 3 month ago he was in trouble with a stone in his mouth,
i got up one morning 1-30 and he was choking on a stone, got a paper clip ready and had to push it down his gullet and i got it out he swam freely then with relief, but i guess he had lived a bonus 4 months , has he grew he became twisted with age in his body, but as he grew he grew more bent in his body and he was blind in his eye
i buried him in the garden in dougals grave, as there was no where else to put him
swim free goldie he will be dearly missed

Arrgh, bless you. Poor wee goldfish......but WOW 14yrs old, that's amazing and a real credit to you - I've never known a goldfish to get to that age. Big hugs to you and swim free at the Rainbow Bridge little fishy. x

yes goldie was bought before my brother got married and hed had been through nitrous waters and all through the yrs he swam he became bent with age and blind in 1 eye, i expected him to go, the more he grew the bent he became, someone once told me that there was a story of a goldfish living nearly 50 yrs it was in the post but how can you honestly believe such stories now the water has change and has been through numerous treatments, well 10 yrs is the maxamin for a ordanary goldfish i think goldie did well bless him.
