I had a dream after my dog passed

My beloved Golden Retriever,Rolf died when he was 2 years old A car hit him on a driveway). I was in a pretty bad shape for 5 days,it was so not expected death. (It took 5 years for me to get over it) Few days later, I had a dream about him coming out of his grave healthy as ever.He came back home with us.
I firmly believe that like humans, dogs as well don`t die. Only their physical bodies die but their souls carrie on.

Re: I had a dream after my dog passed

I am sorry for your loss.

I think it is part of the grieving process - both my son and I heard one of our Great Danes going up the stairs when he had passed over - obviously we were both in separate rooms - so I find it hard to explain that.

Re: I had a dream after my dog passed

Our dog Roo died 4 days ago , the day after myself and my husband just couldnt get out of bed with the grief, as my husband lay in bed and was lightly asleep Roo came to him all happy and healthy, he does not believe in all that but he does now. Its certainly given us great comfort in the past few days.

Oh, I`m very sorry for your loss I know,it`s very very painful). It`s painful for us humans but not to our Furry Friends. I hope your family gets some comfort from your dog`s visit after his death. He`s not gone very far. They are with us, always.

So sorry ... But yes I believe they not only remain safe in our hearts, but survive death and we shall see them again, on another level of existance

*Hugs*

Re: I had a dream after my dog passed

I have to agree, i was 10 when our first dog passed, and even though i knew he had gone , i kept hearing his footsteps on the floor in the hall for weeks after. My poor mum must have thought i was going crazy but it seemed so real at the time, maybe thats why? I will never forget it.

Sorry for all your losses, however sad it is too lose them i always think it was better to have had them in your life than not at all. Its just soo hard when the time comes as they are family.
