New book regarding the death of dogs

Hi

My name is Brian and I am currently writing a book about pet health and nutrition. Part of the book will explore unexpected death in canines and the link between feeding and pet health.

I am posting in the hope that some owner that have experienced the passing of their beloved friend may be willing to share their story, what your dog was like, how it died and how the experience has effected you and your family.

My hope is that the inclusion of such stories may alert dog owners, illustrating just how delicate our four legged friends can be, and how easily they can be taken from us.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post, and please feel free to post your story here or to send me a private message.

Regards

Brian

Hi Brian! and welcome!
Your post has alarm bells ringing with me! You say you are writing a book about health and nutrition - yet you are interested in links re feeding and death! So can I ask, have you already come to a conclusion regarding a certain feed i'e dry or wet and are looking for confirmation to back it up?

Re: New book regarding the death of dogs

Hi,

I have no conclusions, and my stance is totally neutral.

That being said, I am aware that some of the best selling foods are considered by some to be unhealthy.

And I am aware that the manufacturers would have us believe that their particular feed is the best.

I am bringing a pet nutritional expert on board, hopefully they will give a concrete comparison of the major brands.

The truth is that so many dog owners never think that their pet will be taken, and when its gone start looking into the health and nutrition.

Hopefully I can prevent some needless deaths.

Hope that clarify s your concerns.

Brian
