Stroppy Rabbit
I have two Lionheads, Charles who is 6 months and Primrose who is a year and who we have only had for a few months. Over the past week or so she has become stroppy - when you go to stroke her she sometimes lifts up her front paws to push you away, quite aggresively. Last night I was feeding them treats and she actually growled at me then ran away!
They are both house rabbits so are pretty friendly and spoilt, but neither particularly like being stroked, they are just not bothered about it, but are happy to run around us and lie by our feet. We would love them to sit on our laps but realise this probably isn't going to happen, do you think we should try and pick them up more often? I thought it was best to leave them if they don't enjoy it, but perhaps she is being stroppy because we aren't handling her enough? Any ideas, thanks?! |

Re: Stroppy Rabbit
We are just feeding them the pellet food with vegetables in, pretty standard really. Then they have lots of hay and vegetables every day.
Would what we feed them make a different to their behaviour? |
