Re: my rabbits

They are lovely!

I think my dad is currently tempted to get one of the Giant rabbits just lately.

They have a couple at our local Pets at Home... for £129. I was telling him about them and have been reading up them, I find them quite fascinating! lol.

I have had many rabbits in my life time and lots of other pets too.

I'll admit I had a favourite, very bad of me! (By the way I rarely had more than one rabbit at a time. When they passed away I would get another.)

Snowy was my baby. He was an albino rabbit, was being dumped by a farmer who had a load of baby rabbits so my brother brought him home and we kept him. He got so big! He was massive... but he was more like a dog than a rabbit it was like he could understand what we said he lived for over 8 years... and sadly passed away due to lung and heart problems

Anyway enough of my ranting!

Hiya

Giants are gorgeous, but please dont buy from pets at home, there are so many buns including lovely giants in rescues. Giants only have the same size heart as a average size bun so they do tend get heart problems, average age is about 5 years old so your bun did well

Unfortunately impulse buying from these pet shops are the reason there are an estimated 33,000 rabbits in rescues, including loads of babie this time of year

There are some lovely buns here
