House Rabbits

I have another rabbit question!

We have a Lionhead who is a happy house rabbit, but he is not that keen on being picked up and stroked, and never sits on the sofa with us or anything like that. He is looked after well but do you think we should get a different type of rabbit the next time, does anyone know if different breeds of rabbit are more likely to be more friendly or does this just depend on how you treat them etc?
Any ideas?? Thanks

Re: House Rabbits

There really isnt a specific breed, joey is very soppy however only on his terms, i have to go to him to stroke and fuss him on the floor. Saffy likes to be stroked now and then but is abit of a fidget! If i was you i would have a look at some rescue buns, they already have their personalities assessed. I do thik it does depend how much time you spend with them too. Bunnies arent overly cuddly animals anyway but personality is really what it comes down to.
