Thats the problem I can't let him rest till I get answers. Not just for him but I want to get it sorted so no one else suffers like this, lots of people go to their vets trusting them and not many people know that some vets are just plain crap with rabbits. My vet wasn't wsorking this morning as I'd hoped but he has the late shift today and the early vet isn't great with rabbits so I'll be going this afternoon to speak with him.

Re: So angry!

Just been and spoken to the new vet. About Rosie, The thompson kitten thing they couldn't explain so I've phoned the vets who done it and was told it was their way of putting a discounted vaccine on. Ok fair enough Rosie wasn't given something she shouldn't have been but her history should have been written up properly with what she was given. Now George, the new vet was disgusted that he wasn't given any pain meds when he was castrated but not a lot I can do about it now so not to worry too much as he's fine. Charlie, I can't make a formal complain as it was possible with his not eating properly that he would have had spurs again only a week later but he should have been given pain meds and antibiotics, again I can't really do anything about it now. Daisy on the other hand was the big cause for concern, the new vet said under no circumstances should she have been given both vaccines on the same day along with being spayed!

I'm slightly calmer now although still very annoyed but theres nothing I can do as the new vet said the people I would have to complain to are there to protect the vets and what happened with Charlie could be justified despite what happened.

Re: So angry!

It does make you wonder what happens with them when you leave them there, but what choice do you have but to trust them I guess?
Shame theres not much you can do, but it sounds like your new vet is great!

Unfortunately not, they won't give me printouts for the drugs on their own as all drugs used are listed intheir history. I never thought to check the receipt when paying for treatments either as I trusted them at the time.
