I would suggest as soon as she has picked a definate corner, then put the tray there with some wee'd on hay or something(with fresh on top) so that she still smells it. I would try keeping her in that room until she returns to the cage(and tray) most of the time, then give her a bigger space. I personally then would put the tray outside the cage right next to it, and just gradually ease it away to where you want it.
Dunno if people with house buns have any better suggestions!?
I have Hope litter trained in the hutch, I brought him in the house earlier, with a new litter tray and fresh newspaper, put him in the tray so he knew it was there and he used it and didnt make any mess, was soooo proud of him!
