Talking WOW, what a breakthrough!!

I have moved Thumper's (maybe Oliver) cage into the kitchen and now he's being really friendly

I'm sooooo glad.. He's not bitten once either

I let him out to run round in the room earlier and he had fun. He was binkying about and kept jumping onto the sofa and chasing Oscar about

At one point, he jumped up onto the sofa and sat on my knee for a cuddle.. YAY

I cant wait til he's neutered (on the 8th) as i'm sure he will calm down even more *fingers crossed*

When he's neutered, had his vaccinations and settled down i will start bonding him and Lilly

I soooooo hope thye will get on..

They are going into a shed 8x7ft with a huge run attatched..
I am getting my dad to build it and it will have to be really tall as he can jump quite high when he wants to..
It will have a proper roof to shelter from rain too
I have started to buy some toys and i have a spare sand pit half to make them a digging box

What shall i do with the interior of the shed?
I was going to put lino on the floor to make it easy to clean (covered in bedding to make sure it isnt cold)
I was going to put shelves up or something.. What do you think??

I also have a couple of snuggly cat beds for them too

Re: WOW, what a breakthrough!!

wow he sounds do fun!!

ur shed sounds like its gonna be great, I was thinking of using lino for when I move and Miffy has to go outside. the tiles are pretty cheap but sound very messy and would be a pain to wash, so I was hoping some kind freecycler might have a bit for me. or I might get some of that non slip horsey matting, I'm sure with plenty of snuggly places and each other for company they will plenty warm

Re: WOW, what a breakthrough!!

Ahhh glad to hear that thumper is making progress! I bet he'll be a real softy once he's been neutered.

I once kept my buns in a part stable and I added a shelf in with a ramp which they loved so I think that's a good idea! It sounds like it'll be a bunny heaven!

I think lino is a good idea for easy cleaning...you'll have to fit it so that they can't pull it up and rip it though lol!

Re: WOW, what a breakthrough!!

Everytime i go past his cage, he runs to the front wanting me to talk to him
He's getting to be a big softie now, thankfully

The only problem i have now is getting him back into his cage when he's been playing out..

Oh and jumping up.. He can jump right up onto the back of the sofa (from the floor)

I will have to make sure his run (when its built) is really high and has a roof
