He's in with a guinea pig, thats a big no no, he's probably starting to feel his hormones, rabbits dont like being picked up and he probably got cross with you. He will start to become more fiesty when he hormones kick in and your guinea pig is in danger im afraid. Id have him neutered when he's 4 months old or when he weighs enough and he'd be happier with a female neutered bun.
Lots of rescues get far too many guinea pigs coming in that have been kept with rabbits with fractured pelvis' due to the bunny mounting them and other awful injuries, they are different species and dont understand eachothers communication. Theres a thread on here about the other dangers and nutritional problems about keeping these animals together if you want to have a look.

Yeah i have seen it as i am the one you put it on for . Picked him up later on and he was fine just wanted cuddling. I need to pick him up as i have to put him back in his cage. The kids always pick him up and he is fine think he was just having an off moment. But my eldest son has convinced me to buy him another guinea pig now so looks like bunny will be on his own. Which wont be a problem as he gets loads of cuddles and will spend more time in house now. Have normally only kept 1 rabbit on there own and they have always been fine.Need to buy another cage though now as well as we only have 1 and a run

Re: Ouch rabbit just bit me

haha oh sorry im very forgetful just finished 4 nights

I would get the guineapig a companion they really do need company but as you said the bunny should be fine as long as you get him neutered im sure he will be ok, you have to put up with some qirks till they settle, its like having a puppy. Saffron my doe was a nightmare until i got her done but she is very worth all the hassle she gave me

Whatever you decide its probably best to keep him alone and give him lots of attention so you build your relationship up with him. This is what i did with joey, i sat with him for hours in the lounge so he was with me on his terms, i have a beautiful relationship with him now, i go out and he jumps on my lap for head rubs and cuddles. I got him saffy when he was 6 months old and they adore eachother, i was going to keep him on his own but felt bad when i went to work. Lots of people have one bunny though. I hope it all works out for you.

I get like that after a few sleepless nights with kids . Rabbit loves to come in house and sit on settee watching tv with kids. Off to pet shop when i drop little 1 at nursery to get Guinea pig a friend will be another female other wise we would be over run eldest wants to breed them but i know for a fact they would never leave .

Re: Ouch rabbit just bit me

Oh there are loads of gorgeous guinea pigs in rescues perhaps you could ring your local rescue? Petshops are very bad at sexing guinea pigs and would be nice to give a lovely one to an unwanted one At you know they have had a health check ect.

I dont agree with breeding buns unless you are a serious breeder of a particular breed, there an estimated 33,000 rabbits in rescues, have a look at Rabbit Rehome - Adopt an unwanted bunny from a rescue centre so many stunning bunnies young, old, big and small.

Bought a new hutch as well put them both in at same time and they are now cuddled up together in there.Lightning is like a different animal today alot happier been on his own just opened run door he followed me out and straight to his cage bless him didnt look 2 impressed when i closed door on him though
