I want biscuit

A lady has asked me to re-home her rabbit for her..
What do you think??

This is the email i got from her:

Hello

I have a 12wk old male baby minilop sooty fawn who I need to rehome as I have discovered I am allergic to hay. This has come as a complete shock to me.

I can give you his 4 foot cage, 3 bales of hay, 1 straw, large bags of CAREFRESH and 8 bags of Science Selective Pellets plus accessories and toys if you could use them.

It would be very reassuring to know he is being taken care by a true rabbit lover as I want him to have a good life. Having to give him up, is upsetting but I have no choice.

If you are able to accomodate him please ring or Email 0113 2** ***4. I live in Holt Park and I don't have a car so if you are a driver it would be a great help for transporting the 4ft wide cage.

Hope you can help with rehoming Biscuit.
Kind Regards
Jane

Re: I want biscuit

I think she sounds really genuine. She doesn;t mention money and there's just something about her e-mail that reads with sincerity.

I don't know anything about rabbits as I only had one as a kid but is there anything other than hay she could use that she may not be allergic to?

He really is so cute though. I'd love a rabbit if it wasn't for the cats and their penchant for all thinks skittish.

if it was straw you could use shredded newspaper instead but rabbits need to eat a large percentage of hay daily, you could use fresh grass instead but its not really availiable all year round and its best to have hay too anyways. shame really, if he was mine i couldnt give him up, he really is the cutest!!!

Re: I want biscuit

are u going to keep him or rehome him?
sounds like shes gone to a lot of effort to buy him everything he needs, the hutch is a little small but then, this is typical of what any new rabbit owner ends up buying. He is a real beaut and deserves a great home
