is my lop too young
hi all im new to this forum only found it today i already have a lop he is a smoky grey colour he is fluffy big and called peter my son 2 at the time named him i got this baby dwarf lop today off a breeder wasnt happy she was driving round with them she supplies the garden centres but they were all in decent cages and had correct bedding ect and water but he looks really small he is supposed to be 8 weeks 1 ear is up 1 down is that normal for that age he is very freindly seems to have been handled the lady had a young daughter and a dog with her benny the bunny doesnt seem nervous at all and is good body weight he is in a large pet carrier in the house for now as he seems to small to go out will try and put pics on and see what people think

Hate to put a dampner on your new bun but two bucks that are not brothers are very likely to fight, especially when little one is sexually mature.

thanx for your reply no we werent going to keep them together as i know peter would kill benny peter is handled and interacted with daily as benny wil be when i phoned her i didnt know she was a breeder but she said she could bring them round i said id get back to her but then she had my number and the kids were pestering me as i couldnt find any other bunnies today on offer and when she phoned me back i gave her my address and once i saw him i couldnt not have him he seems happy enough now at least he will get 110% devotion now

He looks healthy enough, probably about 6 weeks old, they should be rehomed at 8 weeks but breeders supplying to petshops commonly rehome them at 6 weeks because they look cuter
Least he has a nice home.

thanx for replies i thought he was about 6 weeks am going to wait a few weeks before he goes outside but will take him out for a run when the weather picks up again will just be in living room for now the kids are loving it even the baby who is 14mnths laughs at him do you think peter will get annoyed at us having him they wont be put together but will be homed closely peter is 3 will put some pics of peter on he is soooo handsome lol
