Re: bunnie pulling fur.

I would say it could be a phantom pregnancy, my netherland girls have done it proberly every 3 months since I got them about 18 months ago. I had a lop girl who was doing it almost constantly for the years I had her after finding her in our field(i asked about, no one claimed her).
I personally dont trust the vets for sexing that well, I took my Male new zealand to the vets to be neutered to be told it was female, to bring them both in the next day. I maked which one was male, and took them both back, after passing them around everyone at the vets they finally decided one was male, the one i had taken the day before!!! and they were 12 weeks, where it should be easy for a vet!

Re: bunnie pulling fur.

phantom pregnancies are very common this time of year with un-spayed does.
How old are they? I'd get them spayed asap.

Re: bunnie pulling fur.

shes fine today. didnt pull any fur out last night and is out playing with the other one now. Iv been told that a lot of females do it this time of year so im feeling loads better now. i usually have males, iv always prefered males of everything. They are both about 18months old. Well thats what i was told but they dont seem too old so id say that was about right. was planning on getting them both spayed anyways but i dont have the money to get them done at the mo, cars leeking fuel and the hoover just broke so will have to wait a couple of months. why is it things always brake just when you have some moey for something els. lol
