I don't use sawdust either. It can affect their lungs as well as their eyes with long term use. I would like to smell the scented stuff though. I liked the smell of the ordinary one before I stopped using it.

Re: Scented Sawdust??

Scented shavings are renowned for causing respiratory problems and cause irritation in rabbits.
Personally I would not touch them.

Re: Scented Sawdust??

You should never used a scented product with any animal. They are purely for the benefit of the owner, and do the animal no favour at all.
Their sense of smell is so much more powerful than ours, so imagine sitting with a bottle of concentrated scent beneath your nose all day and imagine how uncomfortable that would be after awhile.
