Any toy tips?

Bearing in mind two of my rabbit don't have front teeth so pretty much all rabbit toys are useless to them. Theres all sorts of tunnels and tubes put out in the garden for them but they just don't seem interested in them. I've tried the treat balls (plastic ball with treats inside) but they got bored of that even with the treats in it. I've tried small cardboard boxes that they can toss around but they both turned their noses up at that idea. They're starting to look quite bored sat in the garden, they've taking up just sun bathing with the occasional run around to play with the dog. Daisy, the bun who still has her teeth loves the boxes and toys I've bought her designed for buns with front teeth.

Basically any tips on toys I could try with two very bored looking bunnies with no front teeth?

Re: Any toy tips?

no probs

they've got hay tubes on there which they might like to nibble on.

had a idea too. i sometimes give charley as a treat some musili which i put water in and cook in the microwave like porrage. he adores it abd its really soft and sticky. would they be able to get it out if stuffed it in a loo roll?

Re: Any toy tips?

That sounds like a good idea actually. Its funny they can eat the grass and garden plants with no problems but any rabbit toys designed to be chewed are no good since most are wooden with no front teeth they can't chew it.

Little tip others might be interested in as well. I know a treat I make up for Daisy (the one rabbit with teeth) and for other rabbits I've had with teeth. Make soldiers like you would for having with boiled egg from wholegrain bread and but some nice fruit jam on, then put in the oven on a really low heat for a few hours till its rock hard and rabbits love to chew on it.
