1o week old bunny looking for a loving and experienced home

i have got a bunny at work a dwarf lop x lionhead hes a little buck and has been off sale due to pulling his fur out now as i went to put him back on sale today i noticed that his front teeth are over grown and need cutting and are also crossed over.

with him having this problem i cant sell him to a customer so i am looking for some who would like to give this bunny a loving home FOC but only to someone i no will look after him and keep on top of his teeth.

he is nice and healthy eating and drinking ok he loves his carrots and i would prefer him to go to a home with other bunnys not for breeding though.

you would have to come and collect him from the shop, if you want more info just ask

i will try and get some sneeky pics of him tomo and post them up.

hes a lovely boy and loves his cuddles he is a light grey colour

I wonder why he's pulling his fur out!

I take it you work at a pet shop or do you own it? If his teeth are growing over it is the petshops responsibility to get him treated. No-one will take on a bunny that needs medical attention apart from a rescue

Where abouts are you and I will see what I can do, I know alot of rescues and experienced bunny people.

Have pm'd you.

Re: 1o week old bunny looking for a loving and experienced home

Two of my rabbits have had their front teeth taken out due to them not lining up properly or wearing down. Was either that or have them trimmed every three months which I thought would just stress them out too much and can cause infections in the long run. They both cope perfectly fine without those teeth although they look kinda funny when they open their mouths. All I need to do for them now is cut any veg up into bite size peices for them instead of give it whole. They still eat all the plants and grass they used to in the garden with no difficulties and it doesn't hinder them at all in any way. I think I'd advice having this done for most rabbits whose front teeth aren't lined up properly rather than keep having them trimmed and risking infection or stress. Maybe this little lionhead could benefit from it if his teeth are an ongoing problem.
