Paranoid bunny owner.

I noticed last night that my new femal rabbits genitals looked slightly red and swollen. First thing that popped in my head was Myxi, so i took her down the vets, expecting to lose yet another female (ive lost 2 in the past year - one was very sudden) and it turned out i was a little paranoid. I knew she was in season, but id never observed the full swelling of the genitals despite having owned rabbits for over 15 years, and having bred them for about 2.
I think i got so paranoid as she isnt vaccinated yet, as my vet feels shes a little under conditioned, and wants her to put on a bit more body weight first.

He poked fun at me

spose he did poke fun at you, was that after you paid his fee! Not very nice of him, at least you care about your bunny. Lots of people would have just left her.

Well done you!

Oh he knows me really well, and knows that with my experience i should know better. But you lose touch sometimes, and ive never seen it first hand. I was quite surprised that he didnt charge me either

I do think i paid for their entire new flooring though, the amount of times ive been in there over the years. Everytime one of my animals has some treatment, they seem to get something new.
