Re: micro chipping bunnys...
No worries...If you do do it yourself you need to be careful that you dont do them too short! It would be best to watch someone first....thats my plan anyways

Re: micro chipping bunnys...
Microchipping bunnies is the same as cats and dogs - just a needle into the back of the neck. It doesn't hurt them in the least and generally costs around £20. My bunny is a house bunny so she's very unlikely to get lost/stolen but she's microchipped for my piece of mind - its just an extra security that if something did happen I'd have a chance of finding her.
I also clip her nails, approx every 5-6 weeks. Its probably a good idea to watch a vet do it first, but its very easy. You just need some proper animal nail clippers and then make sure you don't go down as far as the vein. |

Re: micro chipping bunnys...
I got Tink micro chipped at an RSPCA Bunny Awareness Event, They did it for five pounds and registered her to my name and address...bargain
All they did was use a little needle gun to put it into the scruff of her neck, she didnt even flinch. Might be worth popping on the RSPCA site and seeing if theres one going on in your area ![]()
