Rabbit insurance?

what insurance company are you with?
do they pay after treatment as a refund or direct to the vets during/after treatment?

Re: Rabbit insurance?

Im with petplan. Not sure how it works lol but alot of pet insurors wont cover an on going illness. So e.g. if say this year an animal covered by pet plan got some type of illness which was covered by insurance when you renew your policy they would still be covered for more treatment however alot of other insurors wont do that they will exclude that illness from cover when you renew!!!

Re: Rabbit insurance?

I would never bother with insurance for small pets, why not just have a seperate emergency account and have regular amounts of money put in ,At least then if nothing bad ever happens your money will still be your money!!

Re: Rabbit insurance?

i was going to go with pet plan but they wanted too much for one bun when i have 8, and they wanted me to to pay £50 up front of any claim plus a thrid of the bill, so we have decided to put the £30 a month they wanted for 2 buns and put it in a different account for them
