Re: to neuter or not to neuter...

i think it depends on the rabbit, i got Thumper 'done' a couple of weeks ago and even though its not been that long i have noticed a difference in his temperment hes more playfull, however like said it doesnt stop the chewing.
In fact hes worse now lol as he has started chewing his bed (he has a nest box thing as a bed) but i suppose that will help his teeth too lol

do you have a lead for your rabbit? i got one, but i havnt used it because im worried he will get out of it and run away...
I did have for Joey my black bun when he was younger becasue he was laid back, its difficult because buns are flight animals and usually dont take to it very well.

Re: to neuter or not to neuter...

Can boys get cancer to if they arent neutered...im sure i read it could happen on a care sheet?

I was thinking of getting a lead to..even if its just to introduce him to the garden until i felt he knew the surroundings well enought to let him loose! Maybe try him in the house with it and see how he takes....? x

Yes they can but its not as bigger risk as does, yeh always try in the house first.
