advice on food please

i got dexter today who is 8 weeks old (i have his brother too as i picked him up for a friend) well they was eating wagg rabbit food and mine are on belvadere premier so i dont have wagg here.
ive been to tesco, somerfields and pets at home and cant find wagg!!! so what do i do with the babys? PAH advised to feed hay over night and then give a tiny amount of my own food and gradually increase the amount.
is this advice ok? or should i try getting wagg tomoro and introduce my own food gradually in with the wagg?
the buns only ever had wagg so a bit worried about food

When changing a rabbit's diet you always have to do it gradually to make sure that their stomachs properly adapt to it, so I'd try to get some Waggs to change it gradually. One night of missing food or having only hay won't kill them.

hi all, yes i got some wagg from wilko's sat morning as im holding a bunny for 2 weeks for someone i will wait until he has gone until i change my boy over or the other persons boy will be changed twice and i dont want to upset his tummy.
is the best change over method to add a small amount of new food to his food daily and build it up over 2 week period?

Hi Frags

Yes that is the best way to do it just mix the two together and gradually just stick with the one food you want to keep feeding him!
