small female with two males

Oki so i have a little problem, i have two neutered males. They are both very happy and fine together. Although a women down the road from me has two rabbit which the shop had told her where both male, now finding out they are not as they have little ones. anyway i didnt no this till today when the women came round my house and asked if i would have the last little female off her as she only wants the two. i agreed and have had her for a few hrs now. i have placed them all in my room but im not sure if im trying to bond them right. The one male just dow seem to bothered and has only went up to her twice and has just done nothing. but the other one is chasing after her and then humping the other male ? is there going to be a problem with putting them together ?

Re: small female with two males

you need to keep her away from your boys until she is spayed, the scent of an intact female can very easily cause friction between the bucks

also as she grows up her hormones will start to kick in and the bond can break, leading to one or more getting hurt
it really isnt advisable to try bond an intact doe into an established group

It's not neutral ground then, she can be spayed at 6 months.
6-8 weeks after her spay you can begin bonding again on neutral territory.

Re: small female with two males

I would quarantine her for a good 2 weeks, get her vaccinated and worm all 3. You dont know if shes got something you cant see.

I also agree it will be much easier to bond her once shes been spayed.

Most vets will spay around 5 - 6 month but it depends on what breed she is/how big she is and how experienced you vets are.
