Hmmm?

Well, Pickles and Amos' went separate ways the next day and fell-out. Somehow Amos managed to get on the shelf despite there being a box taped onto it. I put him down and covered the shelf but when I came back in the back door I heard Pickles chase him. It was about 1am and I couldn't go sit in the shed with them - so I may have made a mistake, but I let Amos on the shelf as I didn't want to go to bed and have him not have an escape route. Going to take them to the vet and see if there is something wrong with one of them that is causing this fall-out.

One last thing - my wee foster bunny, Marley's pee absolutely stinks. When I clean his litter trays I could vomit. Such a strong and rotten stench. Could this be because he is only neutered? Pickles and Amos' don't smell like Marley's lol - nice topic.

Re: Hmmm?

Awww bless them, something is setting them off it seems.
I might be the only one who will say this but I would just let him have the shelf. Mine have the ocasional scrap, but I never block anywhere off and I dont rebond, and they sort it out within a few days the 2 that have kicked off are as good as gold with each other. I've found there needs to be a pecking order, even within pairs, it could be that Pickles is just making that clear.
The vets isnt a bad idea mind you.

Marley's pee I think is most likely that he has only just been neutered. Hopefully it will die down soon.

Re: Hmmm?

Thanks Heidi, to be honest, I did open the shelfs again as I didn't want Amos to have nowhere to go. It gets strange by the day lol. The big box I on the bottom shelf is where Amos was hiding. I packed it with hay etc to keep him warm.
Yesterday was extremely mild here and I opened their door and worked out back for a while. They were on the floor a fair bit together. Actually almost the whole time. Later on Amos was on the floor and Pickles was in the box. I think that you're right Heidi. It seems that their bond isn't broken but maybe Pickles is letting Amos know she's the boss.
