Came across this on the internet and made me think of my Alfie so now I'm sat here crying like an idiot. I've lost many animals over the years, but none have hit me as hard as the loss of my bunny boy.

"I left for the rainbow bridge after I died,
I knew you were sad as I saw when you cried.
I want you to know I still love you alot,
You were the person I never forgot.

You were the one who would clean out my hutch,
You gave me kisses and cuddles and such.
You filled my water and food to the top,
You really loved it whenever I'd hop.

I want you to know that I'm happy here now,
I never feel pain or grow older somehow.
There's so many bunnies to play with up here,
But I still think of you with a fond little tear.

Whenever a rainbow you see with your eye,
Remember it's me on that bridge in the sky.
But don't feel sad as I'm trying to say,
"There's no need to worry for I am okay!"
