Just got rabbit neutered

Hey, I just got my rabbit neutered yesterday, and it went well He's been eating and drinking fine, droppings look normal, he's alert and looks quite content to be home. However, right now he's confined to his cage because of his stitches, and I can tell he's already getting a bit crazy being locked in. He's used to having full run of my room most of the day and a very large pen attached to his cage at all other times. So he's not used to a small space, and whenever I walk in the room he paces. I was just wondering how long I should keep him confined before I can at least attach the pen and let him come out for a bit.

Thanks!
