Moving rabbit into shed

Hi.

I'm new to this site so please bear with me.

I've had a rabbit now for just over year which has been keep in a hutch indoors. Now due to a change in circumctances, I will have to move it outside. I am proposing to move the hutch into my shed. Is this reasonable? I have noticed that the shed can get quite warm on some days which concerns me as I know rabbits aren't good with heat.

This is the hutch Orchard Manor Guinea Pig and Rabbit Hutch by Pets at Home | Pets at Home which is one of the bigger hutches so hopefully this will help matters.

If anyone has any tips on this, I would be most grateful.

Re: Moving rabbit into shed

Thats not a bad size hutch actually, suprised from P@H! lol

The best thing for hot days is the frozen pads that you can get from places like P@H or just a frozen drinks bottle layed in there so that they can lay up against it Remember to change it as often as you can.

I would suggest if he is moving outside that he could do with a friend. He will be used to being with company all of the time and it will be very lonely for him to move outside by himself Rescues have lots of spayed girls available usually, but your boy would need neutering aswell
If he is moving into the shed, could he not have the whole shed with the hutch for his bedding? Or could you add a run onto the hutch in the shed just to give him some more space
