Holiday boarding

At the end of august I am away for ten days and it's a lot to ask of friends to look after my two for the whole time so I viewed a boarding place tonight. Accomodation was so small, I was speechless!

Another one which is really good is booked for the time I'm away but the lady said she would look after them at our home, this includes 2 visits per day, feeding, cleaning out etc and she said £30 for 10 days. What do you think?
Sounds like a good idea to me. Much better being at their own home. I don't think £30 is too bad

Re: Holiday boarding

That sounds pretty good price wise. I have been considering starting bunny boarding myself, setting up a big shed with 6ft + hutches and doing home visit boarding to. There is only 1 place around this area that I know of that specifically boards small animals, thats about 30 miles away from me.
The good place, do they just have hutches or runs aswell?

Re: Holiday boarding

Yes the good place has runs on the lawn too plus an indoor exercise area for bad weather. No wonder it's booked up. Because the set up there is nice though I'd feel ok about her coming to ours. It's not like she'd need to go in the house. The other place was same price for boarding. She was nee and obviously had the Victorian view of rabbits in small hutches

Re: Holiday boarding

Hmm, I cant see how they can board with small hutches, I guess people dont know any better!
I can see why she is booked up That sounds great. If she is that good with boarding I would say she will be good with home visits!
