"Gone Camping"

OH went down to check on the buns in the run and panicked cos he couldn't see them as he walked towards the run... But no, they were just camping in their bunny tent!

So lovely to see them all snuggled up together!

So cute!

You inspired me to order a bunny tent from Ebay! Now my lone bunny just needs a friend to snuggle with...hopefully he won't have to wait too long...

Are you going to go to a rescue centre? There are so many needing homes and it will work out better as they're vaccinated and neutered plus they will help you with bonding too.

How cute!

I've wondered about getting a tent for my 3 buns but just presumed they'd chew it to pieces.

Yes, definitely - that's the plan! Although I think it's a little way off yet....this little guy needs neutering (been just letting him settle in for now) and we're also working on getting a shed and making a larger run area to accommodate more than one bunny comfortably.

I googled our local RSPCA centre the other and they have lots of rabbits on their website in need of rehoming. I am starting to read up on bonding bunnies (never realised there was so much to be aware of!). We live in Cornwall and as far as I know there's nobody who can help with bunny bonding locally, althugh it's possible the RSPCA centre may be able to help.

In the meantime, I also need to bond with this bunny myself and get him used to being handled before I can think about introducing him to another rabbit. He's not used to being handled at all and is very nervous and skittish about it. Bless! Thinking once he moves into the shed it'll give us neutral space to start doing that, so I've been advised...
