She's here!!! Photos attached

So my little mrs bunny is here. I took Sunny to the rescue centre for the first meeting and they were quite ok with each other. Little bit of boxing but only for about 30 seconds or so then they just ate the grass.
Travelled them home in the same (big) pet carrier and they are now in the brand new hutch but I've sectioned it off to make a little smaller.
So far so good but I'm aware it could change. Fingers crossed

And this is after a couple of hours

I know people say not to put in litter trays and food bowels etc but Sunny is litter trained and want to keep it that way, also want her to copy him really. I have a bowl of food at each end of the hutch and plenty of hay all over.

Re: She's here!!!

Well they've been in the new hutch since about 1.30pm and all fine. It helps as sunny has never even seen it before. trying not to get too confident though.

Still no name yet

Re: She's here!!!

Sounding good It does definately help that its a brand new hutch, sounds like they are going to be like Rascal and Kodi, they just settled no problems at all

Hmm, what names have I used for bunnys: I had a dutch called Storm, a lop called Angel, a lionhead x called Hope (he turned out to be male but kept the name!), a lionhead called Smudge, a lop called Tibbles, a lop called Kodi. Then the guineas - Nala and Inka(only had 2 girls before these)

I like Kiara aswell, or Kira
Will find my unusual name list I made for Jana.

Re: She's here!!!

Last night I left them as they were as had been great all day. Checked on them twice overnight and all seems really chilled. No signs if anything going on. 2 quite calm bunnies. New one is little nervous generally as you'd expect but on the bonding front it's all quite cool (so far)

Re: She's here!!!

Photos here.

This one is after being together a few hours. There are 2 feed bowls very well spaced out and the litter tray had to go in as Sunny uses it and want to keep it that way. There doesn't seem to be any territory issues so far.... hope it continues and we dont take a backwards step.

I just need a little craft knife to score that lino away at the front - its driving me mad
