Question Is it ok to give my bunny this type of food??!

I used to have some rats but they passed away a few months ago (((( im wondering if i can give my bunny the left over food? (i have a whole 5 and a half pound bag left!)

Its not specifically made for rats the food is called, "Laboratory Rodent Diet" so i dont know if this is only rats and mice or if its ok for bunnies as well? Id rather not waste all of it!

Thanks!
PS: I want to get a smaller type of breed of bunny and im also curious but are bunnies ok to live by themselves? I know rats and guinea pigs need friends to be happy but do bunnies need friends with them as well? I would like to only get one bunny if thats possible

Thanks!!

NO! Definatly do not feed a rabbit on rat food or any other food that isnt specifically for rabbits, its not worth chancing it! There could be something in it thats toxic to rabbits, or it could caused mal-nutrition and loose stools!
Even food that says its suitable for "rabbits and guinea pigs" isnt ideal, the best food is supa rabbit excel, russell rabbit, rabbit royal etc

Its nice to have a pair of rabbits, and they do often appretiate the company, saying that some rabbits do not.

They are equally happy by themselves if 1. they get enough attention/handling from their owners. 2 if there hutch is a very decent size and they have lots of toys and things to keep them occupied. 3. If they get the right ammount of excercise/freedom!!! If the rabbit is going to live outside in a hutch, it might be worth thinking about getting a pair, but if its going to live inside or you have lots and lots of time to spend with it then it should be happy on its own!
