Question Moving Woof bunny outside for summer - a few questions

I'm wanting to move Woofy bunny outside for the summer but I've got a few questions.

He's normally a house rabbit but we've got a garden now and it seems a shame for him. I'm just worried about a few things - will he be okay with the temperature change?

Also, he's very close to the cats and they sleep together and cuddle up and groom each other etc, will he miss them terribly? Should I get another bunny friend for him? (He's neutered). Will he miss being indoors with us?

He'll be back in in the winter

Thanks
Em

is he a lone bun hun? if he is a lone bun i wouldnt move him outside without getting him a friend first, they are very social animals and im sure he would get lonely without yours or the cats company

He is, Roar bunny passed away a few months ago

Yeah that was really worrying me that he'd get lonely, do you think he'd like a wife bun or just a friend bun? I'd get new bunny neutered too, just to add

Re: Moving Woof bunny outside for summer - a few questions

Also (and sorry to double post!) Would anyone have a recommendation for a hutch? It's not a huge garden but it's bunny proofed at the bottom for when I'm out with them and I'm sure I could find a way to cover the grassed part at the top but with a good height for them to stand and binky etc.

Outback Corner Hutch - Great selection at zooplus I was looking at this one, I couldn't go more expensive than that but I'm just wondering what others think to it or if they know of a better one and things.

Thanks again

i would go for a wifey bun, it would probably be an easier bond

im not sure on that hutch, its hard to work out the actual square footage, or maybe im just too lazy

As miss said I would get him a friend before moving him outside. When you are ready make sure you put him out in stages so for a few hours a day and then build up until he is out overnight too.

Personally I think that hutch is too small especially for 2 rabbits. You could convert a playhouse and attach a run to it, much more space for them and it works out a lot cheaper than buying a hutch/run combo (not to mention 99% of hutches available are unsuitable )

Wifey bun it is then! He's a very relaxed bunny though, I didn't have any trouble with him and Roar bonding but I'd still like to make it as easy as possible for him

On some of the pictures it does look very small doesn't it, hmm. I'm probably best going somewhere where I can see the actual product and things.

He spends a lot of time outside in the day in the summer and I bring him grass in over the winter, so at least it wont be a sudden change to his diet which is a plus.

I'll certainly do as you advise and increase the length of time gradually, thanks. I must admit that hadn't occurred to me.
