Ear mites again??!
Hi I noticed my rabbit has been scratching her ears and shaking her head a lot, when I stroked her I touched her ears and she jumped and went off to scratch them. I looked into them with a torch and they have yellowy crusts in them and her right one is red. She has already had ear mites three times before in under a few months and has been given spot on stuff, she had to go back a few times with the last ones she had as the crust wouldn't go. If it's ear mites again I don't know why she gets them so often or where she gets them from! She has hay specially for rabbits and it isn't dusty and always smells nice and fresh, she is in the same shed as my three guinea pigs (she never has contact with them) and they are fine. When I first got her she was kept inside before she had her vacinations and she got them when she was inside too. Could it be something else as the spot on didn't seem to do much good? Is there any spot on I could buy, I had a look but couldn't find any? Thanks
