i hardly ever talk about leo on here and i`m not sure why, i`m always raving about the dog, cats and sweep but rarely leo it`s weird as i love him heaps and he`s defo a mama`s boy as he won`t let anyone else pick him up.

for those that don`t know, i rescued leo from a home that didn`t bother with him. the woman bought him and her 1 year old son harrassed him then oh`s boss found out about him and although i knew i had sweep coming i couldn`t sleep for thinking about him so ended up going to get him. he`s been here since march now and is doing so much better than he was, i love him to pieces!!!

tonight i went out to see him and the cover for his hutch was ripped by the cats next door badly so i had to throw it but his hutch was covered with ice and he just pounced at me for hugs....well i couldn`t leave him out so i`ve brought him to be an indoor rabbit till the weather picks up. we`ve put him in the conservatory and turned the heating off in there so it`s not too much of a temp adjustment till we finally bring him in to the main living area but he seems sooooo grateful!! anyway here`s a couple of pics of my gorgeous boy





isn`t he just the cutest?? him and sweep have already greeted each other through the cage and of course nosey sweep was more interested. i just hope i`ve done the right thing in bringing him in as his hutch was covered in ice as were the slabs round about his hutch (i slipped and smacked my chin on it cause of them )

He's adorable and I love rabbits called Leo lol never come across another one before. You did the right thing bringing him in who knows you might like having a house bunny so much you'll keep him inside in Spring. A single rabbit shouldn't really be outside anyway

i spent ages fighting with myself for a name for him as his previous owners never gave the poor boy one and then it hit me he was a lionhead and leo just seemed perfect!!! i`ve already got my mini lop sweep in here and may well keep him as indoor i`m not sure as he seemed to like being out, i can`t put him back out now till the weather improves anyway or it could kill him. hopefully one day him and sweep can live happily together but for now i can give them both equal time to be snuggled

sarah trust me it was my own fault hahah i knew it was slippy him and sweep are sniffing the cage bars right now it`s super cute!

People on here can give you good advice about bonding them it's harder with two males though but it sounds like they've made a good start.

You can bond two neutered males but it's much harder than male/female or two females

Hun please please please be very careful with them being able to sniff each other, i have told this before but i will continue to tell people about Jack so it dont happen to another bun.
I had Jack in a run and Dexter was running free, Dex went to smell Jack and they semt fine until an unpredictable nightmare happened! Dexter bit Jack on the nose and ripped it clean off poor Jack had to be put to sleep.
2 males can turn so quickly.
Dont want to put a dampner on things i just like to give my experience to warn others x

Glad he is indoors, wish i could bring mine in but im going to be moving in 2 weeks time and the new shed will have electrics in and some sort of heating added

oh sweep is a girl so they won`t be together till one is fixed but the little bugger was hopping around and found her cage, he wasn`t bothered by her but sweep wanted to get to him....not gonna happen!!!

i plan on taking leo in soon to have his nuggets cut and then i`ll work on bonding them
