How to insulate my bun's hutch?

Hi everyone,

My bun has recently moved hutch from a single storey to quite a large double storey. I have bought a Scratch & Newton hutch hugger for the primrose cottage (which will give you an idea of its size!) which was quite expensive but does the job perfectly!

Now that the weather is getting more chilly, I want to get ready to insulate the hutch and get prepared for the winter frost and snow. I don't want to buy the hutch snuggle as it costs even more than the cover!

What can I use to insulate the hutch?? I was thinking of using a duvet underneath the hutch cover but the cover is quite a tight fit across the top of the hutch....unless I could somehow strap it around the sides???!!

Any suggestions/ideas please??

I think a duvet would work or towels or blankets. Anything that you can get to stay on the sides Or you could staple bubblewrap to the outside which might help

I dont know much about hutch's etc, but what about a tank jacket. You know for boilers. Couldnt you cut it up and affix it to the sides ?
