Well... guess whos back in the dog crate?

I groomed Bebe about a week ago now. I started to do it myself after the incident when they didnt like being away from Bebe and her smelling different etc. I put Bebe on the ironing board and let fur drop down onto the floor where Hunny & Sunny are running around. I brush Hunny & Sunny with the same brush etc and groom them all. This works perfectly and ive had no trouble...

A week later however i noticed that Bebe seems to be loosing her sight a little bit at a time (she is albino and 6 years old now) so i presumed any bumps i heard were her bumping into another rabbit and the rabbit getting abit annoyed. The usually little bits now and again to be expected.

However i watched them when i came home from the pub quiz this evening and both Hunny & Sunny have ganged up on her abit. I think its because there routine has changed (as they cant do outside in the cold now) so they are inside, and can possibly smell newly neutered summer around.

So poor Bebe is being picked on a little. Its just the odd fur pull and i rekon when a 'winter routine' is sorted and Summer is introduced it should be fine but for tonight i have the 3 rabbits in the large dog crate in my room.

So far there has been one nip from Hunny to Bebe
Im sure theyll figure it out again by morning (fingers crossed) x

my 2 still have the odd punch up, usually over food. Bebe probably needs a little more food than the others too as shes older and looks bigger? might just be her coat i guess.

There usually better behaved around food! When i feed them.. they all eat nicely together and then have full tummys, get sleepy and fall asleep cuddling.

I think its proberbly something to do with Summer being done. I have a feeling shes now developing her 'neutered smell' if that makes sence? and Sunny (the male) seems to be the one kicking off so i think its a boy thing too.

Touch wood, nothing bad so far, just chasing and fur pulling, no bites.

Im seeing this as a hiccup.. there in the small dog crate again, have had tea and seem to be okay. Keeping them in the crate over night, and if they are still being abit naughty they will be off for a car ride tomorrow then hopefully back in the hutch tomorrow evening...

Better today but still being naughty. Let them run around the living room this evening as i have a feeling its a case of smelling summers and bebe bumping into the other 2. So far weve had 1 chase, hunny was told off and that was the end of it

They have eaten tea nicely and are current sat in the dog crate eating hay.. hopefully when i lock them in the dog crate they will be tired and full and ready for sleep x
