Cut grass

Someone has brought me some grass cuttings when he cut his grass today for Pickles and Amos. I am not sure that they can eat it. Does anyone know if they can eat grass cuttings?

Re: Cut grass

Probably best not to. They could be contaminated with oil/petrol. Not to mention the fact that grass starts to ferment the second its cut.
