Well Summer was neutered on Fri 17th. Since then she has been living in the dog crate so she cant bink and hurt herself. She has also been in there so i can keep an eye on her... as the cheeky little bugger kept managing to slip her cone collar off!

On mondays check up they confirmed that she had managed to fray a stitch but luckly she didnt pull it out or cause an damage. So from then shes been under strict watch night and day lol

She has been wearing a little rabbit harness all week with the cone collar attached so she cant slip out of it after nibbling through the first one she has now settled down.

However last night she got too settled and kept scratching her cone thinking she was scratching her ear after a week of sleepless nights waking up to check on her etc i have decided enough is enough and that its time for the stitches to come out.

She was booked in for tomorrow evening however the vet said sunday (today) or monday (tomorrow) would be fine. So ive decided to change her appointment to this evening so we can both get settled properly in bed and have a good nights sleep

I have never had to worry about a collar as my vet does internal stiches and the patches up with glue

With the other 3 i cant remember them having a collar on! or worrying about stitches tbh! So i have no idea why shes had to have some.. oh well... hopefully there coming out today so she can be back in her cage and chilax again! x

Well were home!

Shes suddenly become happy for me to hold her (maybe all the times ive had to hold her this week for her cream)
She didnt move when the nurse took the stitches out and she was quite happy to sit in her carrier when we were done

Shes a different rabbit now, shes bouncing around here there and everywhere! Shes rolling a kitchen roll cardbored tube around in the crate and she couldnt decided which part of her to wash first when her cone came off x

Good News!
Summers sore bottom has healed lovely with the cream and now looks fine and her scab has now come away to show no scar and the fur is growing back great! hurray! xx
