Red face When is it too cold?

Hiya!
As you all know i have my 3 bonded bunnies in a large hutch inside, but everyday i check the weather and let them into the run from 9am til whenever it starts getting dark. If its raining or its got dark, they are brought inside and have there own room to run around in.

Today its cloudy but dry however recently its started getting really cold on an evening before it gets dark. Im starting to be abit concerned as Bebe is getting on abit and when i go to bring them in shes usually huddled in the mini hutch. I think shes starting to feel the cold abit.

As i said today is cloudy and dry but its freezing here today! Ive actually put the heating on im so cold! Is it time to start not putting them outside?
Ive decided to keep them inside today and like i say they have there room to run around in and i have started planting things in pots so they can nibble fresh grass etc So they are kind of getting the same experience as being outside.

Am i just being soft? what do you guys think? Im concern because they are indoor rabbits so they dont have the same coat an outdoor one would have? x

Re: When is it too cold?

I agree with starting to keep them inside. The mornings and evenings are very cold, especially for an indoor rabbit who isn't used to the temperatures. IMO I would only let them outside if the sun is out, and only once its warmed up, so around 10-11am. I'm sure they will be fine indoors as you say, they have a whole room to roam about in.

Thanks
When the sun comes out the wind is extremely cold! Unless theres a sudden warm spell i think ill keep them inside now. They are very happy in there room, they have a box to play in/with and a little hutch to jump on and rugs to lay on so i think they should be okay. ITs a shame but at least they are nice and warm. Bebe seems to play when shes inside, so i think shes happier too x
