Dandruff ??
Hiya
I'm not sure if anyone can help/advise me. I have a 6mth mini lop buck who I think has dandruff. He isn't scratching at all, has no hair loss and is in good health. When I was grooming him the other day I noticed some very dry patches on him, they are very flakey but not sore. I've looked everywhere for advice but am not sure what to do??? |

Re: Dandruff ??
mites, ring worm, skin infection, allergic reaction, could be a few things best to take him to the vets where they can take a skin sample and look under a microscope

Re: Dandruff ??
Lottie has this and I took her to the vets as I was worried it was mites. She had some little sore patches and I had to put cream on them and then she was fine
if it is mites though they are simple to treat too.Its definately best to take her to the vet - they'll pick the 'dandruff' up on some sellotape and look under the microscope to see what it is
