bunbun is on a distinguished road
Thumbs up Rab Jab

Hi everyone. Our buns have been to the vets (again)
Everything is fine and thankfully they are both girls - one is called Lilly-Rose and the other Tilly!
We have had them inoculated for Myxie and now VHD at our super vets in Macclesfield - called Wright and Morten. The buns are now cuddled up together in their cozy bed
The buns are now litter trained - can you believe it We just put a bit of evidence into the litter tray and after about a week (with a bit of readigrass to help things along) they pop in without any encouragement.

The vet said that we now have to keep a close watch in case they decide not to get on (they are sisters and have been together from birth). If they start to fight we will have to separate them and then have then "done". They will have the op any way in a couple of months or so (after they are 6 months old) as I know they will be healthier in the long run.

Here is a little pic of them a few weeks ago! They love their run and have a plastic drain pipe to run up and down in (and keep dry when they decide to stay outside

Re: Rab Jab

they are adorable. did you have the myxi vacc and the VHD vacc 2 weeks apart? I had my two girls spayed at 4 months old. If the vet is happy to do them younger than 6 months, then i would advise it.

Re: Rab Jab

Hi - yes the two sets of jabs were two weeks apart with Myxie first. We will have them "done" - I don't want them to start fighting etc.

We were a bit worried today - Lilly-Rose (black and white) is holding her front paw as though she is in pain but I read that this could be due to the VHD jab (on Pets United forum). So we hope this is the case - I will have a look here to see if the same has been reported. For one minute I thought she had broken her front leg or similar.

They are lovely buns - we are getting very attached to them!
