Ive put him just on hay and water- hes better this afternoon...im taking him to the vets this week anyway, but the vet in work said that its "common"....well it cant be THAT common because ive never heard of it happening before! She also said its common in young rabbits- and hes 5!!
All ive done is worry!

Re: Please Help:(:( My rabbit is ill.

Sevenpets is right, rabbits should not go long without eating as everything shuts down and there isnt much you can do for them once that happens. Is he eating now, and what is his poo like??

And are you sure the person you spoke to is a vet, as a rabbit with the runs isnt normal!

Re: Please Help:(:( My rabbit is ill.

I was thinking the same...she couldnt explain WHY its happened- absoltulaty nothing in his diet has changed so...
hes only eating the hay- i will give him a bowl of his rabbit pellets tonight, but wont give him any veg untill tomoro i think. I phoned the vet when i booked the appointment who said for him to not eat any fruit or veg- which he loves, so hes stuck with this pellets!
