Re: Pics of my four moth eaten buns...

I see mine aren't the only ones moulting. Finding fluff everywhere at the moment and the buns look really tufty. It seems that they run and leave a cloud of fluff behind them.

I's really jealous of you for Dreamer I'd love a choc tan but they seem so rare. What camera do you have to catch their binkies? Whenever I try I just get a blur or miss them completely as my camera has quite a slow shutter speed I think.

Re: Pics of my four moth eaten buns...

Oh wow your garden is gorgeous!!!

They are beautiful bunnies and loved the story...

but have to say I am reassured by pic 5...black bunny...my black bunny has that exact white "skirt" of fur...presumably dead fur as it comes away easily. Was actually embarrassed about giving him to the boarding lady...gave him a bath and rigorous grooming but didn't help. The skirt thing is lowering now. But is very reassuring he is not the only one!!

Just wonderful anyways!! xx

Re: Pics of my four moth eaten buns...

George is the only one of mine who doesn't moult in clumps (the others you can just pull handfuls of fur off them to the point they get patches of really short new growth). With George though he changes colour slightly with each moult so you can see a distinct circle of new colour on his back that slowly moves down making a skirt around him.

You can see the way he moults on this picture.

This is normal.

Just think he was almost black when we got him.
