I just paid 6 quid for a bale!!! 6!!!!!

and to top it off when I got it home it was still so fresh i had to lay some of it out on tarp to dry luckily I still have plenty of the old stuff left, but no chance of finding some nice year old hay.

oh my god. I got some of this years hay, and it's so lovely and green, the rabbits love it. It's only £3.50 per bale, gone up by 50p from last year but it's much cheaper than pet shop hay.

I wish I could find someplace to get a bale of hay. I rang about 10 farms in my area and none of them did bales. My friend's dad breeds race horses but his hay is too rich. So I am stuck with that awful expensive crap from the pet shop.
