Re: Housing a pregnant doe with another unspayed rabbit

as soon as she had dropped she will be extremely territorial, hence why u shouldn't touch the young until they are hopping about.

she will most defiantly attack any rabbit that comes in to her territory, hutch/run even if they have previously been friends.

there are tens of thousands of rabbits sat in animal rescues, many of them will never know a real home, please have both your does spayed. There is no money to make from breeding rabbits, professionally or unprofessionally

Re: Housing a pregnant doe with another unspayed rabbit

Why can't you just enjoy them as pets? there are over 33,000 rabbits in rescues at the moment and many more on the waiting lists to go in.

Re: Housing a pregnant doe with another unspayed rabbit

You can only try, if she is used to having the other doe around she will prob be fine.

I recently sexed a pair of rabbits wrong and had a call 6 months later as a litter arrived!! Although i went round to fetch the 'buck' for a few days until they got a new hutch, the doe was fab with having the buck around, he was protective of the litter more than the doe was lol.

There's only 1 way to find out.
Good luck
