Alan sneezed

I heard this morning what sounded like a sneeze from the rabbit room but my OH said Lottie was tearing up paper so I must have heard that. I popped home at lunch and Alan definately sneezed.

His nose isn't runny though, should I take him to the vets or just keep an eye on him for a while? Could dust make him sneeze?

Difficult call - perhaps keep an eye if you see no other symptoms - esp if he's eating ok and is bouncy? Dunno tho, someone else on here could completely disagree. Hope it stops x

Bebe does this! She makes me jump sometimes!
She will do one big sneeze now and again! I took Bebe to the vet and he just told me to look out for a runny nose and not eating etc. Bebes done it for just over a month now, shes fine and weve put it down to dusty hay and a sensitive nose x

Re: Alan sneezed

George sneezes a lot when he eats hay the dust gets up his nose. He has a sensitive nose so anything a bit dusty affects him.

Re: Alan sneezed

Malc sneezes lots!
It's usually when he's out on the patio 'sniffing' things and something goes up his snozzle!

Once he's sneezed it out he doesn't do it again for a while

Re: Alan sneezed

Yes mine do this especially when they're moulting. (makes me sneeze too!) And mine have just started to go through another phase of moulting too. Hopefully that's all it is.

Re: Alan sneezed

Ah ok this has made me feel happier, his nose isn't runny and he's fine in himself so I'm sure he just got something up his nose
