smelly bunny

hi. I have the most gorgeous rabbit ever, he has two deformed front legs so he looks a bit goofy but hes fab, the only problem is hes absolutly discusting iv never known anything pee so much, I clean him out two/three times a week depending but its still bad. Im taking him to vets to have a check up but im also trying to get him to use a litter tray to make things easier, but hes a slow learner, my hamster got it faster.

I wanted to make sure i got all the smell out from where he usually goes, ie all over the hutch. With dogs and cats I usually use biological washing powder, but I want to make sure it would be safe to use for him, in case he digests some. Please does anyone know if its ok, or anything else that might work???

Re: smelly bunny

Rabbits are usually fairley clean, and use one area of the hutch to soil. There a lot of problems from breeding(moggy)rabbits, including deformities, bad teeth etc.All of which ive never experienced with pedigree buns. You can use disinfectant as long as you let it completly dry before returning rabbit
