If anyone is interested, Summer has not had her babies yet (if there are any)

Ive had a good chat with Frags and she has given me lots of advice on what to do if there are babies on the way

Summer is chilling out alot at the moment and seems to be taking it easy and getting soooooo much food

I took the paper out of her nest as i felt like the nest was too deep and therefore i would not be able to supervise the big day if i cudnt see if she needed help etc She didnt mind the paper being taken away and is now adjusting the nest with hay and straw instead

She is happy for me to be around and stroke her a little (as long as i dont make a big fuss and pick her up)

She has a little round tummy at the moment but i have heard dwarf can carry there babies further up there bodies nearer the rib cage so therefore no vet would be able to tell until a day before or on the big day! So i have decided not to stress her out by getting a second opinion from a vet.

I am expecting the babies any day but when she has been with me for a month i will assume no babies are on the way. So far she has been with me for just over 2 weeks so i have set a 'due days' for 14th aug til the 16th aug...

thanks ive put off cleaning her out for a couple extra days because she was building the nest, so im going to clean her out this evening and make sure everything there for her if she needs to add to the nest lol x

Still no babies, but she has gone abit mental today! Shes started ripping all the paper off the floor, throwing toys around and pulling her hay holder off the side of the cage. Shes being a little terror and the bottom floor of her cage is a tip! x

Since i got her? about 2-3 weeks i think so its either any day or another week to go lol x

Just checked on her and there are no babies atm... I have to make sure i smell of her when i check so i put my hands in the cage to rub some soiled shavings on my hands and she grunted at me! She doesnt seem too happy atm lol x
