Question mother duck is hurting one of her ducklings

my duck has just hatched her 1st ever ducklings ,2 came day one , then a small one next day , got suck in egg , when it hatched she pushed it across the pen , then pecked it hard , i took it away to save it , have put it back twice but she keeps pecking at it , , any help about this , thanks

I mean, I'm no expert it sounds like she's neglecting it..? Is there anyway you could take it and hand rear it?
