Exclamation Urgent - Silkie Chick Needs A Home
I unfortunatly have to sell my tame white silkie chick, my dogs dont like him and they just want to eat him, i love him so much but he will have to go because the dogs stay out the back and when the chick gets older he will have to go out their with them (in a coop) but im just scared for him, so unfortunatly he is to be rehomeed, i would just like a little donation for beardy food, he is a white silkie, not sure on sex but i think its a boy, just starting to get his adult feathers i think, very tame as he has been living in my room so he has got super close to me, he loves his food and water and he loves mealie worms, he could eat a whole feed but its probably bad for him so i dont give him them much... please help me out, he desparatly needs a home, the faster the better so we dont get anymore attached...

Hi Danielle,

You could try posting on the Practical Poultry forum - they have for sale/ftgh sections in the classified boards and your ad will get round lots of chooky people.

Thanks every 1, i have found him a home now, he will be going to a home with lots of female silkies so hes gonna have alot af girlfriends... im really sad to see him go, but i know its best for him...

Glad hes found some where with some girlfriends im sure he will love it. Always better with there own kind hes a baby with a bit to learn....Very cute though .My daughter would have loved him. But so would the CAT. sAY NO MORE. LOL
